Granite Tiles

Granite tiles are extremely durable. Their durability is the reason granite is so often chosen for floor tiles and worktops, you don’t need to worry about damaging them with stilettos, knives, and cooking equipment. Granite doesn’t need to be protected from moisture and water; the surface is basically impenetrable to liquid. Even leaving standing liquid on the surface won’t damage your granite tiling. Because granite is made during natural volcanic processes, it comes in a range of colours due to the volcanic processes that rely on a range of temperatures and minerals.

Our Granite tiles are a great option for your interior design project. Granite, both contemporary and stylish, gives you an opportunity to transform your home, creating beautiful effects either on walls or floors. It is incredibly hard wearing and can be used in both traditional and modern designs.

What’s Great About Granite Tiles?

  • Granite tiles are versatile and they can be used in a range of ways. From kitchen floor granite to granite wall tiles, there are so many ways to incorporate granite into your home.
  • Granite is also one of the cheaper types of stone, so if you are on a budget, granite is a great idea for your space.
  • Granite tiles are great for family homes or spaces with high foot traffic, as they are extremely durable. If you are looking for tough tiles for flooring, granite is a great choice.
  • Granite is a non-porous stone which means it’s also suitable for areas with high moisture. This means it can work well in bathrooms but also outdoors. Patio granite slabs will happily resist the effects of excess rain.

How to Maintain Granite Tiles

Granite tiles are relatively low maintenance but they should be regularly cleaned. To stay on top of dirt and build up, sweep and mop to remove any surface grime from your tiles. You can then buff the tiles with a dry cloth to remove any water spots (as the water can sometimes leave marks as it dries).

Or, if you have persistent stains or you haven’t been keeping on top of regularly cleaning, you might want to clean with a dedicated granite floor cleaner. However, like we mentioned earlier, granite is non porous so you shouldn’t really see any stains seeping into the stone.

Our Range of Granite Tiles

We have a few types of granite tiles, here are some of our favourites:

  • Our polished star galaxy granite is shiny and smooth with great speckles of silver throughout.
  • Our blue pearl polished granite has a unique combination of blue, grey and beige shades. Like the name suggests, it shines and gleams just like pearl does.
  • Our absolute black polished granite is sleek and brooding, perfect for minimalist and monochrome homes.

If you don’t see any granite that takes your fancy, we also have a great range of slate or marble tiles. We also work on bespoke stone works, so we can source you the perfect stone.
